Key Point Christian Academy 2021 Thanksgiving Food Drive
By Stephanie Guzman, Marketing Specialist
For the past eight years, Key Point Christian Academy has donated meals during the month of November for the Thanksgiving holidays. It is an honor and privilege to be able to donate. Key Point as a community and family are grateful this year for our many blessings. We have been working with the Florida Department of Children and Families for many years. This year we requested our students to bring six items each and a variety of food items. We asked for items like Canned Cranberry, Boxed Macaroni, and Cheese, Canned Green Bean, Canned Corn, etc.
Maria Gandul, the Client Relations Coordinator, states, “The Department of Children and Families, Office of Client Relations received a donation of 100 Thanksgiving bags from Key Point Christian Academy this year. Key Point has provided donations for the past several years, including toys during the holidays and pillows for our Children. Throughout the pandemic, they also donated school supplies. This year the Thanksgiving bags were distributed to our Adult Services. DCF is honored to have Key Point as a Partner.”
