Chef Paolo Rossi Biography
Miami Chef, Paolo Rossi, left the corporate world to enliven his community with his hand-crafted recipes. He graduated from Johnson and Wales University with a degree in culinary arts. Chef Paolo’s pedigree includes years at the Waldorf Astoria and Hilton hotels, as well as working for exclusive clients throughout the south Florida area. When asked what he loves most about his profession, Chef Paolo states, “the feeling of gratitude and excitement when people sit around a table and share time with food. I love bringing people together.”
Chef Paolo’s contributes his diverse background to much of his culinary interest and expertise. “I was born in Miami, but my mom is from Cuba, and my dad is from Argentina. My grandparents are from Italy and my uncle and cousins are from Australia. I was fortunate to be very educated in different cultures and how they eat and celebrate with food, as well as living in a diverse city like Miami.”
Not only does he craft relationships with food, Chef Paolo sees food as an art. He states, “I believe there is something majestic when one can gather multiple ingredients from a farm and have an end product on a plate that can create an epiphany.”
